At first it was nice having the spare battery and a place to charge the phone as well, although it not being able to charge and be connected to a PC what a bit disappointing. After about two weeks the phone stopped charging. Another week in and the AC connector started to get finicky and needing to be in just the right place to provide power. Now, even with power and the charge indicator a solid red, it can take a couple of days (yes, day, not hours) to fully charge the battery. Soon it will be just a spare battery holder

After having this cradle for about 7 months, I found that the second battery charger stopped working. I also agree with another reviewer that said that the lights are just too bright. The dock still works but the reason I bought this docking station was because it had the secondary battery charger.
The return policy states that you have 30 days. in my opinion it is ridiculous to have a piece of technology for such a short time only to have it break. I won’t be buying from Orion Gadgets again.

I would have given it a 5 but the led lights are too bright. I had to put take over them. Other than that I love it.

Works as described. I really like that it can keep a second battery charged. I occasionally don’t press the Droid fully into position and it doesn’t charge, but I think that’s a matter of the design of the Droid rather than the cradle. There’s a front switch that changes between Sync mode and Charge mode. There’s a blue LED in front that is always on, and there’s a LED in back that changes from red to green when the second battery is charged, or if a second battery isn’t installed then it constantly flashes red/green. The power adapter that I received is different than shown but I like it better because it mounts sideways and doesn’t cover any neighboring sockets.
The only thing I don’t like about it is the large silk screened “ORION GADGETS” logo on the front (about twice as large as shown in the product pictures).

Great accessory for the Droid. Handy for charging a spare battery,
however, the Droid will not fit in the cradle with the bottom side
of the rubberized body glove. The bottom half of the rubberized body
glove is easy to get off and on.
